The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan Received Irene Fellin

On November 28, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, received a delegation led by NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security, Irene Fellin.

At the request of the interlocutor, the Secretary of the Security Council presented indicators regarding the involvement of women in governance and decision-making processes in Armenia, emphasizing that the Government of Armenia is taking active steps to expand their participation in the security sector as well. Both sides emphasized the importance of women’s participation and ensuring that their voices are heard in policy-making, negotiations, and security matters.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the agenda and ongoing programs of Armenia–NATO bilateral cooperation.
