The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan Met with Kamal Kharazi

The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, met with Kamal Kharazi, Advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations.

Grigoryan noted that the unblocking of regional communication routes will take place strictly within the framework of full respect for the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, legitimate authority, inviolability of borders, and reciprocity.

Kharazi welcomed the establishment of peace and the unblocking of regional routes, reaffirming Iran’s principled position regarding Armenia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The interlocutors also touched upon the bilateral agenda between Armenia and Iran, emphasising the need for the prompt implementation of ongoing and planned projects.
