
The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Met with Ali Larijani

During his working visit to Tehran, Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, met with Ali Larijani, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the institutional links established between the Security Council offices and conveyed their confidence in their continued strengthening and development.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the latest regional developments, in the context of which A. Grigoryan presented the agreements signed on August 8 and noted that the process of unblocking regional economic infrastructure will take place strictly within the framework of full respect for the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, legitimate authority, inviolability of borders, and reciprocity. A. Larijani welcomed the agreements aimed at establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasising the importance of ensuring stability and security in the South Caucasus.
Reference was also made to the bilateral agenda between Armenia and Iran, highlighting the need to strengthen economic cooperation.
