
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan Held a Phone Conversation with Ali Larijani

On August 16, the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, held a phone conversation with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Larijani.
A. Grigoryan congratulated A. Larijani on his appointment as Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran and wished him success in this responsible and important position. The Secretary of the Security Council emphasised that institutional ties have been established between Armenia and Iran and expressed confidence that the implementation of the existing agreements will continue, while new directions of cooperation will be outlined in the near future.
A. Larijani thanked for the good wishes and stressed that for Iran, relations with Armenia are of strategic importance. He added that Armenia–Iran bilateral cooperation has always yielded positive results and that he is ready to contribute within the framework of multi-sectoral cooperation.
At the end of the phone call, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran invited A. Grigoryan to visit Iran.
