The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Had a Telephone Conversation with Ali Akbar Ahmadian

The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, had a telephone conversation with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Akbar Ahmadian.

A. Grigoryan expressed condolences to the families of those who died as a result of the 12-day Israel-Iran war and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.

The interlocutors discussed issues on the agenda of Armenia-Iran bilateral cooperation.

A. Grigoryan emphasised the RA's position on the issue of unblocking regional channels based on territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction. A.A. Ahmadian reaffirmed the IRI position on the issue of unblocking and expressed support for the RA position.

Recent regional developments were also discussed, within which Grigoryan and Ahmadian emphasised the imperative of maintaining security and stability in the region.
