On June 13, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, participated in the APRI Forum 2025 entitled "Finding Stability in an Unstable World."

During the question-and-answer discussion, the Secretary of the Security Council, responding to questions addressed to him, noted that given the recent events and developments, the region faces a serious security challenge. The Secretary also added that Armenia's continued efforts to advance the peace agenda are aimed at contributing to the establishment of stable and lasting peace in the region.

Speaking about acquiring weapons, A. Grigoryan noted that acquiring new and modern equipment is aimed solely at protecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia.

Referring to the process of normalising Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and the unblocking of communication channels within its framework, the Secretary of the Security Council noted that the implementation of the "Crossroads of Peace" project put forward by the RA Government will allow unblocking communication channels within the framework of sovereignty and jurisdiction, based on the principles of equality and reciprocity.
