On October 7, the Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Nico Scherme

At the beginning of the meeting, the parties stressed with satisfaction the friendly nature of Armenian-Dutch relations and underlined perspectives of its development.

Ambassador Nico Schermers praised the resilience of democratic institutions in these difficult conditions for Armenia, as well as the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Armenia for the continuous development of these institutions. In this context, the Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan presented the efforts made by the Government of the Republic of Armenia aimed at strengthening the rule of law and democratic institutions, as well as the structural and substantive reforms of the Armed Forces. Both sides emphasized the fight against corruption.

The sides exchanged views on urgent security issues in the region and the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
