On October 4, Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan received Iranian Ambassador Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri.

During the conversation, the sides discussed issues of the agenda on bilateral and regional cooperation.

The interlocutors underlined the prospects of cooperation aimed at addressing new regional challenges. The importance of the Iranian port of Chabahar was emphasized in the context of both the regional and the Armenian-Iranian economic relations and especially in the context of Syunik development. Both sides praised the readiness of the parties to continue cooperation within the framework of the Meghri Free Economic Zone and the North-South Road Corridor.

The sides discussed issues of the agenda on bilateral and regional cooperation. Ambassador Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri stressed that Tehran will try to develop relations with friendly Armenia at the highest level.
