The Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev sent a congratulatory letter to the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan, which, particularly, says:

The turbulent dynamics of events in the CIS space last year has once again demonstrated how our countries are interconnected with each other and how joint measures of a systemic and long-term nature are needed to counter contemporary challenges and threats.
I am convinced that the Russian-Armenian cooperation through the Security Council Apparatus of both countries will contribute to the regional peace and stability and the strengthening of partnership and trust between our countries and peoples.
