Today, the Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan gave an interview to Petros Ghazaryan on Public television, addressing, among other issues, the developments in the settlement of the Artsakh conflict, what we should do in this regard, as well as the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

Speaking about the possible delimitation process on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and about the assertion circulated by the opposition that the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border means giving up Artsakh, Armen Grigoryan noted that unfortunately our opposition often perceives the process in the same way as Azerbaijan. He added that the issue of the status of Nagorno Karabakh is still open; as long as the issue is not resolved, any other process cannot affect it.

Referring to the recent statement made by the CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas, Armen Grigoryan emphasized that the Armenian side's concern over the above-mentioned statement is that such non-constructive statements may have negative impact on the process of peaceful settlement; such statements give some grounds for provocation to Azerbaijan. The Secretary added, that Armenia expects the CSTO to take concrete steps to resolve the issue on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

During the interview, the Secretary addressed other security-related issues.
